Post-consumer recycled plastics use signficantly less energy and resources (such as oil) than newly manufactured plastics. In addition, plastic that has been recycled means less plastic in a landfill, in the ocean, or in an incinerator! Products containing a high percentage of post-consumer recycled plastic are environmentally preferable to those than contain little or no recycled plastic content.
