ISO 11469 and DIN 6120 are international standards that specify a uniform way of marking plastic parts over 25 grams with an even surface area of over 200 square millimeters contained in products. These standards were developed to help identify different types of plastics for decisions regarding handling, waste recovery/recycling, or disposal.
